9. Adjust the lens to frame the required images.
Focus adjustment

Turn the VARIFOCAL adjustment screw (Ⓒ), clockwise or anticlockwise, to move the subject
closer or away.

Turn the focus adjustment screw (Ⓓ), clockwise or anticlockwise, to adjust focus of nearby or
faraway subjects.
Note
In order to make installing operations easier, it is possible to connect an LCD wrist monitor Ref. 1092/400
close to camera, by plugging the cable provided with the monitor, into the camera video connector (BNC).

OPERATING FEATURES

IR LED operation
The device is provided with a CDS sensor that switches the IR LEDs on when the light is less than
approximately 10 Lux.
DAY & NIGHT function description
Day & night mode is automatic.
If the light is over 10 LUX, the camera will work in colour.
If the light is below 10 LUX the camera will switch over night in black/white, becoming sensitive to IR light.

CONTROLS AND SETTINGS

Automatic white balancing
The 1092/142 camera implements an automatic white balancing circuit which is capable of correcting the
colour tones as environmental light conditions change.
Automatic gain control
Use the automatic gain control to ensure sharp pictures in medium-to-low light conditions.
