3. Keep the soldering tip tinned during and after the work. This
ensures the life span of the soldering tip is maintained.
Placement
When you take a break in your work, stand the soldering iron in
an upright position with the solder tip facing upwards.
Switching Off
1. Move the sliding switch (2) into the "OFF" position.
2. Replace the protective safety cap (7) over the soldering tip
after it has cooled down. Ensure the nose of the cap faces in
the direction of the sliding switch when placing it over the tip.
This safety feature ensures that the sliding switch remains in
the "OFF" position, so the solder tip cannot be heated acci-
dentally.
Maintenance and Cleaning
Use only type LR6 (AA) alkaline batteries. Other types of
batteries are not suitable due to their physical characteristics.
Please note the performance of the device reduces in
proportion to the service life of the batteries. If the LED light is
very dim and the tip-heating process takes more than
20 seconds, the batteries are used up and should be ex-
changed.
Clean contaminated soldering tips with a wet solder sponge.
Always keep the soldering tip tinned to ensure a long life span.
To maintain optimum performance of the device, exchange
used or overheated soldering tips early. Replacement solder
