Description
The PG700 is used to assign or modify an analogue system address for
the Kilsen KL700A or Aritech 1500 series analogue addressable detectors.
The unit is also used to calibrate the replacement optical chamber for
Kilsen KL731A and Aritech DP1561 detectors.
Do not attempt to calibrate the replacement optical chamber
for Kilsen KL731 or Aritech DP331I conventional detectors with
this unit.

Description
Assign or modify a detector address. Use the and keys
P1
to select the address. Use the key to confirm.

Up
View the detector analogue value. Use the and keys to
P2
display the primary and secondary values.
If the analogue value is less than 9 or greater than 11 the
detector should be calibrated (P4).
Assign consecutive addresses to detectors. Use the key
P3
to confirm.
Calibrate optical detectors. Use the key to start
P4
calibration. The LED screen displays [CAL] during
calibration and [- - -] when calibration is completed
successfully.
If calibration is unsuccessful an error code (e.g. [E1]) is
displayed (see Table 1).
Note: Check the detector analogue value (P2) before
calibration.
Not used.

Description
EO
A non-compatible device has been detected.
The optical chamber could not be calibrated. Ensure the
E1
chamber is installed correctly, is clean and smoke-free
and repeat the test. If the error persists test the chamber
in a different detector.
