"MIN" prompt will be shown on LCD, and minimum value ("MIN") will be shown on the auxiliary display (order: MAX/AVG/MIN); after that, press and
hold "MAX MIN" to deactivate the data recording mode.
* In AC voltage/ AC mode, press and hold "Peak hold" to activate the peak measurement function. At that time, "Peak" prompt will be shown on
LCD. Then press "Peak hold" for automatic switching between P-Max and P-Min modes. Afterwards, press and hold "Peak hold" to deactivate the
peak measurement function. The response time is about 1mS.
* HOLD/BACKLIGHT: Click "HOLD", then the message "RMS is locked" will be shown, and "H" prompt will appear on LCD. Click "HOLD" again to
deactivate the locking mode and enter the common measurement mode. Press and hold "BACKLIGHT" for quick switching among three types of
backlight brightness.
* REL △ : Click "REL △ " for automatic switching into manual range mode for relative measurement. At that time, current displayed value will be
taken as the reference value and shown on the auxiliary display, and the difference between the measured value and the reference value will be
shown on the main display. Then click "REL △ " again to reselect the current original data as the reference value, and press and hold this key to
deactivate REL mode. (Only for the following functions: V, Ω, I, °C/°F)
* Hz%/Setup: Click "Hz%" for switching between frequency and duty cycle (only for the following functions: V~, I~, Hz/%)
Press and hold "Setup" to enter the system setup menu. At that time, the setup items will be shown on the main display, and setup parameters
shown on the auxiliary display. Setup items include "brt" (BRIGHTNESS), "Usb" (USB), "bEEp" (KEY BEEP), "ALO" (ALO TIME), "APO" (APO TIME), "RTC
DATE" (only for 03079 model), "RTC TIME" (only for 03079 model), and "DEL" (FORMAT MEM); press " " or " " to select a setup item,
and press "HOLD" to exit from the setup menu. In each setup item, change the setup parameter with "RANGE" or "MAX MIN" key. In the setup item
"DEL", if the parameter displayed on the auxiliary display is changed as "YES", pressing "SELECT" can format the memory, and all saved data will be
cleared.
Note: Upon change of the setup parameter, press "HOLD" or turn the knob to a position rather than "OFF" to deactivate the setup menu
function. Do not turn the knob to "OFF" position when the setup menu function is not deactivated, for fear of loss of set data.
