5.1 System and individual component description

The Linea Live systems
Mobile Linea Live Active PA systems combine first-class sound with
an elegant design and defined dispersion characteristics.
With a line array function, linear design and robust aluminium
housing, the Tops are perfect for mobile sound and voice
applications in halls, clubs, churches, museums, etc. Linea Live
systems guarantee outstanding speech intelligibility and a balanced,
homogenous sound, even at venues with a demanding acoustic
architecture and long reverberation times.
Linea Live systems consist of a DSP-controlled active subwoofer
that powers Linea Tops and an additional passive subwoofer. The
systems are built using state-of-the-art DSP technology and can be
operated remotely.
Sound presets configured by Fohhn engineers enable you to adapt
your system to different spatial conditions with consummate
ease. Integrated audio devices (EQ, compressor, etc.) allow you
to configure your own individual sound settings and save them as
presets.
Linea LX Tops
The Fohhn® line array speaker system Linea LX-100/150 combines
the benefits of innovative line array technology (directional
dispersion, cylindrical wave) with an elegant design and excellent
sound quality. Linea LX-100/150 speakers were developed to
guarantee top-quality speech and music transmission in rooms with
demanding acoustics and visually integrate the system perfectly
into the room architecture. The Linea LX-100/150 can be used both
in mobile and fixed installations. Linea LX-100/150 is perfect for
outdoor sound applications and adverse weather conditions thanks
to a weatherproof aluminium housing and coated speakers.

Linea LX-100
Linea LX-100 is a high-quality sound system that incorporates
sophisticated 2-way speaker technology. A total of eight 4" high-
performance line array speakers and one 1" compression driver
with advanced HF wave guide system produce sound with accurate,
cylindrical dispersion characteristics (line array principle). Within
the dispersion range of this cylindrical wave, the sound pressure
level remains more constant over long distances than conventional
speakers, which ensures even sound dispersion. These speakers are
also more effective than conventional speakers at dispersing the
sound directly at the listener and less sound is reflected off the
ceiling or floor, which improves speech intelligibility considerably.
The Linea LX-100 is also outstanding in locations with difficult
acoustics thanks to excellent speech intelligibility and dynamic
music reproduction.
Linea LX-150
A total of twelve 4" high-performance speakers arranged perfectly
in a line and one 1" compression driver with advanced HF wave
guide system produce sound with accurate, cylindrical dispersion
characteristics (line array principle). Within the dispersion range
of this cylindrical wave, the sound pressure level remains more
constant over long distances than conventional speakers, which
ensures even sound dispersion. These speakers are also more
effective than conventional speakers at dispersing the sound
directly at the listener and less sound is reflected off the ceiling or
floor, which improves speech intelligibility considerably. The Linea
LX-150 is also outstanding in locations with difficult acoustics
because of the excellent speech intelligibility and dynamic music
reproduction.
X-Subs active
More lightweight and powerful thanks to state-of-the-art
Neodym technology.
The active subs XS-10, XS-20, XS-30 are fully equipped with the
latest Neodym speakers and are therefore extremely lightweight.
The most impressive aspect of the speakers is that all housings
are manufactured from high-quality multiplex beech wood and not
plastic. The clear reduction in weight compared to conventional
systems results from the use of state-of-the-art digital technology
and Neodym speakers. Users also benefit from a reduction in weight
and transport space because they no longer need to transport extra
equipment and racks to venues. External amplifiers, controllers,
crossovers, equalisers and similar equipment are no longer required.
Fohhn Audio DSP technology
Fohhn® DSP processor technology modulates the Linea LX-100/150
and Fohhn subwoofers perfectly. Digital Fohhn signal processors
are integral components of active Fohhn subwoofers, Fohhn DSP
amplifiers and Fohhn DSP controllers. DSP-controlled Fohhn devices
can be controlled remotely from a central location in the room or on
the stage via intuitive remote control units. Fohhn therefore offers
a perfectly adapted sound system that fulfils all the requirements
of a modern speaker system regarding design, sound quality and
operating comfort in every respect.
