– To stop the chronograph, press the same button. Etc.
– After reading the cumulative times, reset the chronograph to zero
by pressing push‑button (I). Read note.
4c) Measuring intermediate time
– To start the chronograph, press push‑button (H).
– To stop the chronograph, press push‑button (I) : indication of inter‑
mediate time.
– To start the chronograph again, press push‑button (I) : the hands
will turn at a faster speed until they give the time elapsed since
the chronograph was first started, then it will continue at a normal
speed.
– Repeat the above procedure to obtain further intermediate times.
– To stop the chronograph, press push‑button (H).
– Reset the chronograph to zero by pressing push‑button (I). Read
note.
4d) Measuring a second time :
With this chronograph it is possible to combine the two beforehand
explained functions and to measure two consecutive times (for
example the arrival of two sprinters who started at the same time).
– To start the chronograph, press push‑button (H).
– At the arrival of the first sprinter, press push‑button (I) : the time of
the first sprinter is indicated.
– At the arrival of the second sprinter, press push‑button (H) : the
time of the second sprinter is memorized.
– Now read the time of the first sprinter.
– To read the time of the second sprinter, press push‑button (I) : the
chronograph hands will turn at a faster speed until they indicate the
time of the second sprinter.
– Reset chronograph hands to zero by pressing push‑button (I). Read
note.
Note : Even while the hands are returning to zero, the chronograph
can be started again by pressing push‑button (H).
