Fault causes and rectification
The following table will help to identify and rectify minor malfunctions:
Malfunction
The camera
does not work.
The image is
too bright/dark.
The image is
blurred.
The camera is
unresponsive.
NOTE

contact the Customer Service department.

Possible cause

Power supply inter-
rupted.
Network connection
faulty.
The brightness needs
adjustment.
The contrast needs
adjustment.
Internal error.
Remedy
Plug the supplied mains adapter into a power outlet
and connect the plug of the adapter cable into the
power supply socket
Start the "Search Tool" software on the supplied CD
to set up the connection between the camera and the
computer.
Connect to the camera via the web browser. Move
the "Brightness" slider to the right to make the image
brighter. Move the "Brightness" slider to the left to
make the image darker.
Connect to the camera via the web browser. Move the
"Contrast" slider to the right to set a higher contrast.
Move the "Contrast" slider to the left to set a lower
contrast.
Turn the focus ring
focus the image manually.
Use a small pointed object to carefully carefully push
the reset switch through the opening on the under-
side of the device.
