Never assemble a valve or no-return valve between the valve or the safety unit and the
!
tank.
On the cold water inlet of tanks equipped with valves, it is necessary to provide a no-return
valve preceded by a valve. To prevent scaling of its parts, operate the safety unit at least
once a month by placing its levers in different positions.

5. cOmmissiOning

• Fill the tank
- Open a hot water tap on the distribution,
- Open the cold water tap located on the safety unit, making sure that the unit's drain valve
is in the closed position,
- After the flow to the hot water taps and without any noise in the piping, stop them: your
tank is full.
• The thermal wells are to be assembled using thermal paste. Follow these procedures for
every assembly.
The trilobal thermal wells and thermometer need to be tightened manually and do not need
to be watertight.
• Checking correct operation
- During heating, the water flows drop by drop through the drain hole in the safety unit (this
hole must be connected to the sewers). This is normal. The water dilates during heating
and the volume can reach 2 to 3% of the tank's capacity.
- Check that the pipe connectors are watertight.
- Check the correct operation of the hydraulic parts by placing the safety unit in the draining
position at the stop position and vice versa, so as to eliminate any waste.

6. maintenance

The installation must be done according to current standards.
Do not forget to put a deaerator or a purger at the top of the primary water tank.
• imPOrtant: at least once a month, it is necessary to put the safety unit into the
draining position for a few seconds: this allows any deposits to be removed, which
in the long term could obstruct the safety valve on the safety unit; failure to respect
this rule can cause damage to the tank (not covered by the warranty).
• Cleaning: to be carried out every year. the cleaning frequency must be adjusted
according to the quality of the fluids carried (hardness of the water) along with the
volume of water consumed. A side access door is provided for cleaning. Replace the
flange seal after every disassembly. Tighten the closing plate respecting the tightening
torque of 9 N.M.
• Cleaning the tanks: the drain pipe placed at the lowest point on the tank allows it to drain
completely.
