11.1 Operating and indication elements

LED indication and keypad:
LEDs green: ready
yellow: disarmed
green yellow red
red:
The state of the indicator is as follows:
Disarming Arming
Numeric keypad for PIN entry
(PIN = Personal identification number)
When idle, all indicators remain dark. When a function is being performed, the
indicator is actuated for approx. 5 seconds according to the function. For details see
following Chapters.

Buzzer signal:
Reading acknowledgement
after activating every key or data carrier
acknowledgement.
Positive acknowledgement
for successfully performed action.
Negative acknowledgement (4x short in 1 sec.)
There is no authorization or the action cannot be
performed.
11.2 AC Function
(Door release)
- Hold data carrier in the reading range (and/or enter PIN).
- Acknowledgment occurs.

11.3 Arming/disarming an IDS
Reader with keypad
- Strike the corresponding key (arm or disarm).
Green LED lights up
Yellow LED lights up when disarmed and remains dark when armed.
- Hold data carrier in the reading range and remove and/or enter PIN.
- Acknowledgement (according to tables below).
Reader without keypad
- Hold data carrier in the reading range and remove.
Green LED lights up
Yellow LED lights up when disarmed and remains dark when armed.
- Hold data carrier again in the reading range after 1 to max 4 seconds.
- Acknowledgement (according to tables below).
Acknowledgement when arming:
Optical Fulfilled with authorisation
and positive drive

2. AC function will automatically be active after disarming.
