Installation

General
NOTE
Pipe installation must be carried out in accord-
ance with current norms and directives.
NOTE
The water from the solar panel can reach high
temperatures. Hot fluid may therefore occur
during installation, commissioning or mainten-
ance.
If the expansion vessel is installed at the same height
or higher than NIBE SPS 10, install a heat reduction
loop/heat restriction.
Install the safety valve in such a way that it cannot be
shut off in any circumstances.
NIBE SPS 10 must not be exposed to overheating
through for example welding or soldering.
If required, flush all lines/pipes thoroughly before you
install the solar pump station. Dirt particles from
welding, hemp or any swarf can cause problems for
the flow meter, non-return valves and leakage in the
safety valve.
Mounting
Check that all sealing surfaces are clean and undam-
aged.

1. Screw the solar circuit's pipes into the armature.
2. Connect pipes from the expansion vessel to the
safety group.
Connection kit SCS10 is available as an accessory,
consists of bracket/wall mounting, double action
non-return valve and flexible connecting pipe.
