USING THE TOOL

General instructions for use
Place the Air Manifold on a fl at, level and hard surface.
Handle the Manifold by grasping the base or the handles. Do
not carry the Manifold by pulling one or more air hoses.
Protect the Manifold from impacts and do not store it together
with other tools.
Check the Manifold for damage before each use. Check that
the housing, pressure gauge and couplings are not cracked,
deformed or damaged in any other way. When damage is
found, it is forbidden to start or continue working. A defective
product must be returned to an authorised service centre.
When the work is fi nished, always disconnect the Manifold
from the power supply and then disconnect all tools and hoses.
Connecting the Manifold to a pneumatic system
Warning! Before connecting and disconnecting the Manifold to
the compressed air system and pneumatic tools to the Mani-
fold, the pressure in the system should be reduced to a max-
imum of 0.4 MPa.
The fi gure (II) shows the recommended manner of connecting
the tool to the pneumatic system. This will ensure the most
effi cient use of the tool and also prolong the tool's service life.
Apply a few drops of SAE 10 viscous oil into the air inlet.
Connect the hose to a compressed air source (e.g. a compres-
sor) and then connect the hose to the Manifold.
Set the pressure of the air supplied to the Manifold, making
sure that it does not exceed the maximum value specifi ed in
the technical data table. It is recommended not to exceed the
working pressure. Also check the maximum pressure of the
pneumatic tools to be connected to the Manifold. The pressure
supplied to the Manifold must not exceed the maximum pres-
sure of the tools connected to the Manifold.
Connecting and disconnecting pneumatic tools to the Manifold
Warning! Before connecting and disconnecting the Manifold to
the compressed air system and pneumatic tools to the Mani-
fold, the pressure in the system should be reduced to a max-
imum of 0.4 MPa.
The Manifold is supplied with four air outlets. It is possible for
two of them to reduce the inlet pressure using a regulator built
into the Manifold, while two other outlets transfer the supply
pressure. The regulated outlets have a word "REGULATED"
inscribed on the casing, and the non-regulated outlets have
a word "NON-REGULATED" inscribed on the casing. To ad-
just the pressure use a knob and its values can be read on
the pressure gauge. Pull the knob up so that it rises and then
rotate it to change the pressure for the adjustable outlets. Ro-
tating in the direction marked "+" increases the pressure and
rotating in the direction marked "-" decreases the pressure.
Once the pressure has been set, press the knob to prevent
any accidental change of the setting.
Manifold capacity
The Manifold transfers the source pressure to all outputs, how-
ever, allow for a pressure drop in the air hoses of approx. 0.1
MPa.
Remember that the Manifold divides the air fl ow. Therefore, it is
necessary to provide a suffi ciently effi cient air source in order

GB
to be able to work with more than one tool connected to the
Manifold. Check the required airfl ow in the documents supplied
with a pneumatic tool.
Air sources with a capacity of approx. 85-110 l/min will allow
only one tool to work, while air sources with a capacity of 225-
340 l/min will allow two tools to work at the same time. Pneu-
matic tools with their own air storage cylinder, e.g. nailers or
riveting tools, may require less air capacity.
Product maintenance
Having fi nished your work, clean the housing, the vents, all
switches, handles and guards with compressed air (at 0.3 MPa
maximum), a brush or a dry cloth. Do not use any chemicals
or cleaners. Clean the tools and the handles with a clean dry
cloth.
Spare parts
For a detailed list of spare parts for the appliance go to the
"Download" section in the Product tab on the TOYA SA web-
site: www.toya.pl.
Used tools are recyclable materials so they cannot be put into
household waste containers as they contain substances dan-
gerous to human health and the environment! Please actively
help us in using the natural resources responsibly and protect-
ing the environment by handing over the used tool to a used
tool storage point. In order to reduce the amount of disposed
waste, it is necessary to reuse or recycle it in another form.
