innovative medical device relies on advanced infrared (IR)
technology to measure temperature instantly and accurately
through two convenient sites: the ear canal and the surface of
the skin over the temple. FORA IR21 ear thermometer is an
elegantly designed infrared thermometer meant for your family.

Intended use

FORA IR21 ear thermometer is intended for the intermittent
measurement and monitoring of human body temperature from
ear canal or skin/surface scan. The device is intended for use
by people of all ages in the home.

How does it work

The thermometer measures the infrared heat generated by the
eardrum and its surrounding tissue, or by the surface of the
skin over the temporal artery. The thermometer then converts it
into a temperature value shown on LCD.
NOTE
The thermometer does not emit any infrared signal.
