11.2. Using the sports mode

Sporting action can often only be captured by using a high shut-
ter speed; the sports mode is particularly well suited for this. In
this mode, the camera shoots a photo using an extremely high
shutter speed.
 In the shooting mode, select the
 Confirm your selection by pressing the QM button.
 Focus the camera on the subject and press the shutter re-
lease.

11.3. Using the party mode

If you want to take photos of groups of people, then the party
mode is appropriate for this.
 In the shooting mode, select the
 Confirm your selection by pressing the QM button.
 Focus the camera on the subject and press the shutter re-
lease.
 Have fun at your party.

11.4. Using the soft skin mode

If you use this mode, the camera detects skin-coloured areas of a
subject, for example, the face, and edits the image such that the
skin appears softer.
 In the shooting mode, select the
 Confirm your selection by pressing the QM button.
 Focus the camera on the subject and press the shutter re-
lease.
