9. Video editing

You can subsequently trim a recorded video using your digital
camera.
The camera has a built-in editing function for this purpose. Pro-
ceed as follows:
 In playback mode, select the video you want to edit.
 Start the video and stop it at the point where you want to

Protected files cannot be deleted. In this case, the mes-
sage "FILE LOCKED" appears on the display.
If a memory card is inserted, you can only delete the
files on the memory card.
If the memory card is locked, you will not be able to de-
lete the files on the memory card.
You cannot restore a file that has been deleted. You
should therefore exercise caution when deleting files.
