es.
• Avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes. If any of these areas come into
contact with battery acid, rinse them immedi-
ately with plenty of clean water and consult a
doctor as soon as possible.
• Do not throw the battery into a fire, short-cir-
cuit it or dismantle it.
• Never expose the battery to excessive heat,
such as from sunshine, fire or similar!
• If the device is not going to be used for some
time, remove the battery.
• If the battery is leaking, remove it from the de-
vice immediately. Before inserting a new bat-
tery, clean the contacts. There is a risk of skin ir-
ritations from battery acid!
• Always remove a flat battery from the device.
• At low temperatures the capacity of the bat-
tery might drop significantly as the chemical
reactions slow down. When recording in cold
weather, keep a second battery pack in reserve
in a warm place (e.g. trouser pocket).
