IN USE
It is recommended that you replace your helmet 2-5
years from date of manufacture dependant on the
environment and conditions of use.
The key factors for a helmets 'in use' life are
exposure to external force, chemicals and Ultraviolet
(UV) radiation. In the event of physical or chemical
damage the helmet should be replaced immediately.
When fitted, the 3M™ UVicator™ can help you to
identify when to change your helmet as a result of
exposure to UV radiation. The 3M™ UVicator™
changes colour from red to white when the helmet is
due for replacement.

detergent in warm water.
