7 FIRST USE

After installing the appliance, the following operations must be performed:

7.1 Mounting refractory materials

The refractory base is supplied already assembled. It must be inspected to verify whether the com-
ponents of the base have moved during transport, which would cause incorrect levelling and impede
the assembly of the remaining refractory materials. To once again level the base, add shims to the
side and central bases where necessary using the adhesive glass fibre supplied (Fig. 7.1a).
Position the two side refractory materials (delivered separately from the appliance) in the combus-
tion chamber, inserting them in the guides (Fig. 7.1b and Fig. 7.1c).
