DuoComfort

Intended use

Truma DuoComfort is an auto-
matic changeover valve for use
with a two-cylinder gas system.
It permits replacement of a gas
cylinders without interrupting
the gas supply.
The current removal status
("Normal" or "Reserve") is
shown directly on the valve. By
adding a remote display (part no.
50210-01), the changeover valve
can be upgraded so that the re-
moval status can be viewed from
inside the vehicle.
The DuoComfort must be ope-
rated in conjunction with a wall-
mounted gas pressure regulator,
e.g. Truma SecuMotion, Mono-
Control CS or model EN 61 DS

gas pressure regulators manuf-
actured by GOK (the use of other
gas pressure regulators is not
permitted). Two high pressure
hoses are needed for connecting
to the gas cylinders. If the gas
system is going to be operated
while driving, high-pressure ho-
ses with hose rupture protection
at the inlet side are required.
Please pay attention to the
Truma instructions concerning
the use of the gas system while
driving.
Truma offers hoses with com-
mon connection fittings (see
page 58 – 59) to enable use of
gas cylinders with various valve
connection sizes.
To avoid disturbances in the gas
system during winter operation,
the DuoComfort changeover
valve may be equipped with
Truma's "EisEx" regulator
heating (part no. 53101-01).
The use of this change-
over valve is not per-
mitted in confined spaces (e.g.
in houses) or on boats, and in
Germany it must not be used in
caravan holiday homes.
Pressure regulating de-
vices and hoses must be
replaced with new ones no more
than 10 years after their date of
manufacture (every 8 years if
used commercially). This is the
responsibility of the operator.
