PLAYBACK VIA BT

Pairing devices
Before you start using the radio for music playback via BT you must pair it
with a BT compatible external playback device.
• If necessary, briefly press the Standby button to switch on the device
• Briefly press the SOURCE/BT button (several times if necessary) to
activate the BT function BT. You will hear a beep and the LCD display
shows the message BT Pairing or BT Connecting (if connections have
been already saved).
• Set the external playback device so that it scans for BT devices. You
can find a detailed description of how to do this in the operating
instructions for your external playback device.
• From the list of discovered BT devices in the settings menu of your
external playback, select the entry Ambient. The external playback
device will now connect to the radio automatically via BT. When the
connection has been successfully established and BT Connected
appears on the LCD display.
You can now use the radio to listen to music from your external playback
device wirelessly via the radio's speaker.
NOTE: In BT mode, the device switches itself off automatically after 15
minutes if no BT connection is established.The next time you turn on the
radio, it will connect automatically to the last connected external playback
device. If your external playback device does not automatically reconnect to
the radio, you will have to reestablish the connection manually.

Unpairing devices
If you want to connect the radio to another external playback device, you
must first unpair the currently connected playback device:
Press the SOURCE/BT button for about 2 seconds. The LCD display shows
the message BT Pairing. Alternatively, you can unpair via the currently
connected external playback device.
