2. Specifi cati on/Operati on
With this product you are able to fi nd and track down trigger
wires from booby traps. The Line lasers refl ect clearly visible
on the surface of a thin wire or on a monofi lament string (for
example fi shing line).
The green laser can be recognized without a night vision de-
vice. The infrared laser is only useable in combinati on with
a night vision device or a CCD-system, because the infrared
wavelength can't be seen by the human eye.
By the cover of darkness it is possible to detect every trigger
wire with cable release without getti ng recognized.
The reach you can obtain depends on the following factors:
• the photocathode sensiti vity of the image intensifi er tube
• the photosensiti vity of the camera module
• the quality of the opti cal systems used
• the distance from the to dectected object
• the weather conditi ons (e.g. mist, rain or snow)
• spati al positi on and thickness of the trigger wire
