12. Troubleshooting

Pump fails to prime:
Cause
Suction valve is not in the water
Pump chamber is without water
There is air in the suction pipe
Suction strainer (suction valve) is clogged
Maximum suction height has been exceeded
Insufficient pumping rate:
Cause
Suction height is too high
Suction strainer is dirty
Water level is falling rapidly
Pump performance reduced by deposits
Important!
The pump must not be allowed to run dry.

Remedy
Ensure that the suction valve is in the water
Fill the pressure connection (3) with water
Check the suction pipe for leaks
Clean the suction strainer
Check the suction height
Remedy
Check the suction height
Clean the suction strainer
Position the suction valve deeper in the water
Clean pump
