Where in the circulation
system chemicals are added to
the water, is also crucial for the life
span of the heat pump.
If an automatic chlorinator is used,
it must always be located down-
stream of the heat pump.
A return valve must be installed
between the chlorinator and the
heat pump to prevent the flow of
chlorine back into the heat pump.
