5. Close the kettle lid until it clicks and place the kettle on the base. The appliance
will only work if it is installed correctly.
6. Connect the appliance to the mains.
7. Put the switch 0/I to the lower position, the indicator will come on, the water
heating process will start.
8. After the water boils, the indicator will turn off, the appliance will automatically
turn off.
9. To interrupt the water heating process, put the switch 0/I to the upper position.
ATTENTION! If you remove the kettle from the base during heating, the switch 0/I will
remain in the position I (on). If you then place the kettle on the base, the water heating
process will continue. Always set the switch to 0 (off) when removing the kettle from
the base.
10. At the end of work, disconnect the appliance from the mains.
Safety systems
• The kettle is equipped with an automatic shut-off system after boiling water.
• If there is no water in the kettle or not enough of it, the automatic overheating
protection will work and turn off the kettle power. Wait for the appliance to cool
down, then it will be ready for use.
III. CARE OF THE APPLIANCE
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Clean the kettle
body and base with a damp, soft cloth.
Do not immerse the kettle, base, power cord and plug in water or place them under
running water!
Do not use coarse wipes or sponges, abrasive pastes when cleaning the appliance. It is
also unacceptable to use any chemically aggressive or other substances not recom-
mended for use with objects in contact with food.
Descaling
During operation, depending on the composition of the water used, the heating element
and the internal walls of the device may form plaque and scale. To remove them, use
special non-abrasive substances for cleaning and descaling kitchen appliances.
1. Allow the kettle to cool completely before cleaning.
2. Follow the instructions on the cleaning product packaging.
3. After cleaning, pour out the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with cold
water.
4. Wipe the kettle with a damp cloth to remove all traces of solution and scale.
ATTENTION! Before reusing the kettle, make sure that the electrical contacts are
completely dry!
Cleaning the removable filter
1. Open the lid. Gently remove the filter by pressing the plastic tab.
2. Rinse the filter under running water. It is possible to use a solution for washing
dishes.
3. Install the filter in the kettle.
Transportation and Storage
Before repeated operation or storage completely dry all parts of the appliance. Store
the assembled appliance in a dry, ventilated place away from heating appliances and
direct sunlight.
During transportation and storage, do not expose the device to mechanical stress, that
may lead to damage of the device and/or violation of the package integrity.
Keep the device package away from water and other liquids.
