I. BEFORE USE
Carefully take out the appliance and its components from the box. Remove all the
packaging materials and promotional stickers.
Be sure to keep in place warning labels, index stickers (if any) and a label with the
serial number of the appliance on its body!
After the transportation or storage at low temperatures, it is necessary to keep the
appliance at the room temperature for at least 2 hours before switching on.
Wipe the appliance body with a damp cloth, then wipe dry. The appearance of foreign
smell during the first use is not the result of a malfunction of the appliance.
The manufacturer recommends that before using several times to boil the water in the
kettle to remove possible odors and disinfection of the appliance.
II. OPERATION OF THE APPLIANCE
Boiling water
1. Place the electric kettle and base on a hard, flat, dry, horizontal surface. When
placing, make sure that the steam escaping from boiling does not fall on wall-
paper, decorative coatings, electronic devices and other objects that may be af-
fected by high humidity and temperature.
2. Unwind the cord to the desired length. Place the excess part in the compartment
at the bottom of the base. If necessary, use an extension cord of suitable power
(at least 2.5 kW).
3. Remove the electric kettle from the base. Remove the lid from the kettle by
pulling it up by the handle.
Never lift the appliance by the handle on the lid!
4. Pour water into the kettle. The water level should be between MIN and MAX on
a graduated scale. If you fill the kettle with water above the MAX mark, then
boiling water may be sprayed. If there is too little water, the appliance may shut
down prematurely.
