Before connecting, the wires must be electrically checked. The
opposite wires are always connected, you can check the
resistance 0 Ω between them. For multiple detector
connection, you can use two adjacent wires as an input, and
the other two as an output, disregarding the direction. See
Figure 4 for an example.
Testing
The function of the glass break detector can be tested after the
installation with the test set GS331.

Beschreibung
Der Glasbruchsensor überwacht ebene Glasflächen innerhalb
eines Radius von max. 2 m. Der Überwachungsradius ist
abhängig von der Glasscheibenstärke, den
Alterungszuständen der Glasscheibe, der
Glasscheibenrahmung (Metall, Kunststoff, Holz) und der
Glasscheibenkittung (Glaskitt, Silikon).
Glasbrüche, deren mechanische Schwingungen den
Glasbruchsensor nicht in der entsprechenden Frequenz und
Amplitude erreichen, führen zu keiner Auslösung. Das Ritzen
der Glasscheibe mit einem Glasschneider wird nicht als
Glasbruch erkannt.
Der Glasbruchsensor wird von der Zentrale mit 12 V DC
versorgt. Im nicht ausgelösten Zustand beträgt die
Stromaufnahme pro Glasbruchsensor ca. 0,6 mA. Der
elektronische Schalter ist hierbei geschlossen, öffnet aber bei
Ausfall der Stromversorgung.
