3.1 Starting the Car

The PIKO SmartMeasure Car is activated by pushing any button on the keypad for one second, or by setting the car on live track.
# 55050 will only function on 2-rail DC track, and #55060 will only function on 3-rail AC track.

3.2 Display screen side

3.2.1 Display symbols

Explaination of the symbols – upper status bar (from left to right):
1. Track power – analog
2. Data storage / memory – no test run
3. USB status – connection active
4. WLAN status – "WLAN" on
5. battery status – displayed condition corresponds with charging status
The display shows the actual measurements being taken, their value, and activated functions; i.e. "test
run active."
The current measuring function may also be indicated by an illuminated LED on the keypad on the
opposite side.
