7.4 the measuring method

a) Place the cuff around your arm
as described (pages 12 - 13).
Start the Monitor by pressing
b)
one of the ON /OFF (POWER)
key.
When the ON /OFF (POWER)
key is pressed, all digits will light
up (fig. 1). This is a check of the
display functions which is
complete after about 2 seconds.
When the display check is
complete, the LCD will show
the pattern on the right to
indicate that the unit is ready
for use (fig. 2).
