hydrostatic pressure exerted by a column of water on 1 square centimetre at
a depth of 30 metres under normal conditions. In these circumstances your
watch is therefore water-resistant to a depth of about 30 metres.
T
HE DIAL
The dial has a brown base and two levels. The outer, upper ring, bears Arabic
numerals and hour markers, all coated in luminescent material. The central
level, over a millimetre lower, bears the names of the brand and model and the
two subsidiary dials. On the left the small seconds one, on the right the minute
counter, set to 30. The considerable gap between the two layers of the dial
gives it unique depth.
In order to ensure optimal levels of luminescence and greater resistance over
time, Panerai uses exclusively "Grade A" Swiss Super-LumiNova
this luminous substance, special high-performance pigments are used. This
allows an increase in the duration of the readability of approximately 35%
compared to standard Super-LumiNova
T
HE LEATHER STRAP
The strap in leather is hypo-allergenic. It is closed by a trapezoidal brushed
titanium buckle personalised Panerai.
