Your appliance is provided with a filter. When you want to boil water, settle the filter first.
1. To remove the particle/limescale filter, first ensure the appliance is cool.
2. Then open the lid and carefully remove the filter by sliding the component downwards from its secure
housing and take it out.
3. Clean the filter under running water.
4. Let it dry and insert it in the lid.
According to the European waste regulation 2002/96/EC this symbol on the product or on
its packaging indicates that this product may not be treated as household waste. Instead it
should be taken to the appropriate collection point for the recycling of electrical and electro-
