Care and cleaning

Basically, the NDP Kompakt should be cleaned before fi rst using and then after each time it's used.
All parts can either be washed under running water or in the dishwasher.



 Potatoes for potato wedges or boiled potatoes

 Tomatoes, cucumbers, zucchini, horseradish, radishes, peppers for
salads, vegetable dishes and assorted vegetables
 Eggs (boiled eggs) for putting on slices of bread and for garnishing
dishes
 Cheese (Gouda, Edam, Mozzarella, etc.) for cheese plates, cold cuts
or for garnishing dishes
 Mushrooms (e.g. button mushrooms) for mushroom dishes or salads
 Large olives for tzatziki or the Mediterranean cuisine
 Strawberries, apples, pears, kiwis, grapes, plums, peaches, apricots,
etc. for fruit salads, fi tness dishes with slices of fruit, for cocktails
or wine cooler
 Citrus fruit, e.g. oranges, limes, lemons, etc. fi tness dishes with sli-
ces of fruit, cocktails, wine cooler or for garnishing dishes
Take the NDP Kompakt apart as follows:
Open the cutting upper part to a 90 degree position (vertical) and pull
upwards so that the stamp comes out of the side holders.
To remove the cutting lower part, simply lift up one of the ends and
remove it. While doing so, hold the transparent collection box with the
other hand.
The NDP Kompakt has a self-cleaning function for the stick raster. Press the
button on the top side of the cutting upper part. The integrated transpa-
rent cleaning plate in the stick raster is automatically pressed downwards
and cleans the stick raster by removing even the smallest cutting residue.
