housing or its attendant components, unless this is explicitly mentioned in the operating instructions. Never carry out
technical changes to the unit. Only use original spare parts and accessories. Only allow authorised customer service
outlets to perform repairs. Never run the unit without water! Never use the pump for fluids other than water! For your own
safety, consult a qualified electrician when you have questions or encounter problems!
Electrical connection
Only entrust an authorised expert to carry out the electrical connection in accordance with the German EVU and VDE. VDE
0100 Part 702 is valid for all installations. Refer to the type plate for all capacity parameters. Only perform any work on the
unit when isolated! Dispose of the unit when the supply cable is defective as this cable cannot be replaced.

Installation

Place the fountain attachment (A1) on the connection socket (A2).
Set-up the unit
If possible, place the unit in the pond centre (C2), ensuring that no splash water can reach areas outside of the pond. Roll
up the excess cable length (C1) beneath the unit to prevent the unit being driven to the bank. Level the unit if its position
in the water is not horizontal. For this purpose, open the unit (D1) and carefully remove part of the floating body (B1).
Leveling is possible by turning the floating body.
Attention! Only operate the unit when the motor section is fully submersed. Minimum water depth 20 cm. Do not
use salt water!
Start-up
The unit switches on automatically when connected to the power supply. Height and shape of the fountain depends on the
nozzle used. The power supply must be disconnected to switch off the unit.
Attention! The installed temperature monitor (only Aquaswim 2.500) automatically switches off the pump in the
event of an overload (e.g.blocked impeller). The pump automatically switches on again once the motor has cooled
down. Risk of accident!
Maintenance and cleaning
Attention! Always disconnect the power supply prior to starting cleaning and maintenance work!
For cleaning, remove the unit from the pond, hose it down with a water jet and clean it using a soft brush. Remove soiling
from all slots. In the case of dirt deposits in the unit, dismantle the housing section (D1) and carefully clean the inner
components (dismantle) with water.
Disassembly
Open the unit (D), remove fountain attachment (E1), remove stainless steel cover (E2), open catch (F1 & G1) and remove
the end cover (F2), unscrew nut (H1) and remove pump (H2), open pump housing (I1) and carefully pull out the impeller
unit (J1). Assemble in the reverse order.
Storage/Over-wintering
Remove the unit at temperatures below zero degrees centigrade. Clean the unit thoroughly, check for damage and store
immersed in water in a frost-free environment (K). Do not immerse the plug!
Disposal
Dispose of the unit in accordance with the national legal regulations.

pour fontaines sur plans d'eau libres et pour une température de l'eau allant de +4°C à +35°C et avec une tension de
service de 230 volts.
Utilisation non conforme à la finalité
En cas d'utilisation non conforme à la finalité et de manipulation non appropriée de cet appareil, des risques pour les
personnes peuvent en résulter. Toute utilisation non conforme à la finalité entraîne l'annulation de notre responsabilité
ainsi que de l'autorisation d'exploitation générale.
