Installing the Batteries
Warning
• If battery fluid comes in contact with the eye, immediately flush
with copious amounts of water. Do not rub. Seek medical attention
immediately.
• Do not throw into flame, disassemble, or heat.
• Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery.
• Do not use the AC adapter and battery at the same time.
Caution
• If battery fluid comes into contact with the skin or clothes, immediately
rinse with water.
1. Make sure the AC adapter has been
disconnected.
2. Remove the battery cover from the
bottom of the unit.
3. Insert the batteries in the correct
orientation.
4. Replace the battery cover.

When this icon lights up, an E40 error also appears. Replace the
batteries.
Connecting the AC Adapter
AC power
Verify that the power outlet supplies the specified voltage and frequency
(100 - 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz).
Connect the AC adapter to the power connector on the unit and the
power outlet.
To disconnect the power outlet, unplug the AC adapter from the power
outlet first and then remove the AC adapter plug from the unit.
