General warnings during main-
tenance
- Unplug the power cable before
performing maintenance or
repairs, and during assembly
and disassembly of brushes
and pad holders.
- When cleaning and washing,
do not use aggressive, acidic
or leached detergents etc. and
pay particular attention to the
electrical parts.
- Do not wash the machine with
direct or pressurised jets of
water.
- Contact an authorised service
centre for repairs and request
original spare parts only.
General warnings in the event
of a fire
- In the event of a fire, use only
approved dry chemical extin-
guishers. Do NOT use water to
extinguish the fire.

Prolonged machine standstill

- Store the machine indoors,
protected from the weather in
a place where the temperature
is between 5 °C and 40 °C.
- Drain the clean water in the
tank (if present).

Zone with risk of explosion

It is strictly forbidden to use the
machine in environments where
there is a risk of explosion with
the presence of flammable and
explosive gases, vapours, liquids
and powders.
1.3 SCRAPPING THE
MACHINE
For environmental protection,
proceed according to local re-
quirements.
When the appliance is no longer
usable or repairable, dispose of
its components separately.
The electrical equipment cannot
be disposed of as unsorted mu-
nicipal waste, but must be sepa-
rated as introduced by the spe-
cial guidelines for the disposal of
waste material from electrical ap-
pliances (Italian Legislative De-
cree no. 151 of 25/7/05 - 2002/96/
EC - 2003/108/EC)
The electrical equip-
ment is marked with a
pictogram of a wheeled
bin with a cross on it.
This symbol indicates
that the equipment was
placed on the market
after 13 August 2005
and must be disposed
of separately.
