INSTALLATION OF THE HR 2400

Follow these instructions when installing the HR 2400:
Remove the cart board box. 2 Persons can carry the machine upright to the designated work area.
This area must be well ventilated and should be away from electrical switches, sources of heat and
sparks. Connect the earth cable near the air intake. Install the vapour outlet in a way that it runs
perfectly vertical for at least 80 – 100 cm and guide it outside. When the chimney is longer than 2
meter, use a galvanised steel drain pipe (Ø 15 cm) and install the bend as far away as possible from
the machine. For instance: When the drain pipe is 5 meter long, use it 3 - 4 meter vertically and 1 – 2
meter horizontally in stead of 1 meter vertically and 4 meter horizontally. Use Teflon tape to connect
the hose to the air connection of the water gun.
Warning! It is not allowed to use solvents containing either chlorinated substances or
carbofluorinated substances and substances made of halogenated hydrocarbons.

USE WITH WATER

Connect a water hose to a water tap (faucet). Connect the other end to the HR 2400 with a "Gardena"
connection. It is also possible to connect the hose to a boiler placed outside the work area. Water with
a maximum temperature of 50 ° Celsius has excellent cleaning abilities. Open the main faucet at the
front of the washer. Open the water tap creating a water beam that is not to high.
Warning! It is obligated to have a non-return valve in your water pipe to prevent contaminated
water from leaking into the main water pipes.
Warning! Read the instructions in the chapter about Safety very carefully.
WASHING SPRAY GUNS
Remove the cup from the spray gun and pour the remaining paint in an external waste bin. Turn on
the brush switch and clean the spray gun with the brush.
Turn on the middle switch for extra addition of water. With the left switch you can add air to the
water to create a spray from the middle pipe.
To stop the supply of water, turn off the switch on the front side of the washer.
It is possible to rinse the spray gun with the water gun by switching on the left switch.
DRYING THE PARTS
At the end of each washing cycle the cleaned parts should be dried with a clean, non-fluffy cloth. The
spray gun can also be dried by blowing it of with clean air.
COAGULATION
When the basin is filled with contaminated water it is time to start coagulating the material in the
basin according to the instructions of the paint producer. Pour the instructed amount of powder into
the liquid and turn the switch on the upper right side of the washer to the right. The hose, which is in
the basin, will blow air into the liquid and make it move. Leave this on for approximately 10 – 15
minutes. When the paint remains have mixed with the powder the process is complete. Turn the
switch back to the left to stop the air inflow.
Turn the switch for draining the remains open to let the coagulated material drain into the filter bag.
While the material is draining, the basin can be cleaned.

The filter unit is a separate part of the HR 2400 which can be used separately.
