INTRODUCTION

This manual describes how to install the HR 2400, its use and the basic cleaning and periodic
maintenance operations.
The HR 2400 is an innovative and completely pneumatic washing installation for the
manual cleaning of spray guns which have been used with water based paints.
The HR 2400 is completely made out of stainless steel and is equipped with a water stop (float) and a
air injection system for the coagulation process. For manual washing the washer should be connected
to a water supply or boiler, which supplies clean (warm) water. Warm water has a better cleaning
function. The used water is discarded through the basin.
This manual is an integral part of the HR 2400 and must be correctly kept to allow its
integrity and its reference during the whole lifetime of the HR 2400.

The regular running of the HR 2400 depends on the respect and the observance of the instructions in
this manual. It is obligatory to follow the instructions in this manual. The instructions in this manual
are binding:

observing the instructions in this manual.
The HR 2400 Spray gun washer has been built according to the regulations of 89/392/CEE,
91/368/CEE, 93/44/CEE and 93/68/CEE and CE (Ex) II 3 G c IIBT4.. This washer also complies with
the demands of UNI EN 292-1:1992 and UNI EN 292-2:1992 and complies with ATEX regulations. The
Machine safety and risk assessment have been determined according to EN983:1997 and EN
1050:1996. The complete documents concerning these regulations are described in the technical
documentation. These are available at the constructer of the machine.
Warning! Only general maintenance is to be carried out by the user (see chapter 7).
GUARANTEE
Before starting up, check if packaging material is not damaged and if all spare parts are complete and
undamaged. Claims must be submitted within 2 days of purchase and only if the buyer has complied
with the following conditions of guarantee:
E.M.M. International BV herewith declares that the product is guaranteed under the
following conditions :
a) The spray gun cleaner is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from date of purchase if the
warranty form has been returned to E.M.M. International BV immediately after purchase.
b) The guarantee includes free replacement or repair of spare parts with productions faults.
c) The equipment must be forwarded carriage free in original packing to HID Services in Zwolle and
will be returned at costs of customer. If the service is required by a technician on location, the
time spent traveling and servicing will be charged to the customer. Time needed for repairs and
costs of parts will not be charged.
d) The supplier will not be held responsible for direct or indirect damage caused by failing to follow
the instructions specified in this manual – with regard to installation, operation and maintenance.
The guarantee does not cover compensation of direct or indirect damage caused as a result of
temporary failure/interruption.
The guarantee is valid only when the terms of payment have been met.
