5) Zum Einstellen des Datums mit einer Cursor-
Taste in die Zeile „DATE" springen und den Teil
der Datumsangabe aktivieren, der geändert wer-
den soll (erstes Feld: Tag; zweites Feld: Monat;
drittes Feld: Jahr). Durch Drücken der Eingabe-
taste
oder
das aktuelle Datum einstellen.
6) Die Einblendung von Kameratitel, Uhrzeit und
Datum auf dem Bildschirm kann für beide Aus-
gänge „monitor" (16) und „vcr out" (15) separat
ein- bzw. ausgeschaltet werden.
Zum Einblenden der Kameratitel mit einer
Cursor-Taste in die Zeile „TITLE" springen und
für den jeweiligen Ausgang „ON" einstellen. Ist
die Einblendung nicht erwünscht, muß das Ein-
gabefeld auf „OFF" stehen. Mit der Taste
kann zwischen „ON" und „OFF" umgeschaltet
werden. Zum Ein-/Ausblenden von Uhrzeit und
Datum die entsprechenden Einstellungen in der
Zeile „TIME" bzw. „DATE" durchführen.
Durch Drücken der Taste „Lock" (2) die Menüseite 2
aufrufen.
6.2 Menüseite 2: Alarmeinstellungen
Sind noch keine Alarmsensoren angeschlossen, so
liegen bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes
folgende Grundeinstellungen vor:

1) Sind Alarmsensoren am Gerät angeschlossen
(siehe Kapitel 4.2.4), erkennt das Gerät den Sen-

ton and activate ("ON") or deactivate ("OFF") the
alarm input by pressing an input button (
If the sensor indication entered (column
"TYPE") does not correspond to the actual sen-
sor type (column "SENSOR"), a question mark
blinks at the end of the respective line. If this ad-
justment is not corrected correspondingly, and
the respective alarm input is programmed to
"ON", an alarm will be triggered by the unit after
storage of all settings.
3) To set the response sensitivity of the alarm
sensors, select with a cursor button the input
field in the line "SENSITIVITY". Adjust the de-
sired response time (0.2 s to 0.8 s) with the input
button

. The lower the value selected, the
higher the response sensitivity of the sensors.
4) The alarm duration can be adjusted from 0 sec-
onds to 59 minutes. A continuous alarm is pos-
sible as well. To adjust the alarm duration, jump
with the cursor button to the line "DURATION"
and adjust the desired value with the input button
or
. In case a continuous alarm is desired,
select the character " >>" (appears at the end of
the run through all numbers).
5) For switching on and off the internal buzzer
jump with a cursor button to the line "BUZZER". It
is possible to switch between "ON" (buzzer on)
and "OFF" (buzzer off) by pressing an input but-
ton (

6) To switch on the "video loss" function (alarm
in case of video loss) – see chapter 7.2 –, jump
with a cursor button to the line "V-LOSS ALARM"
sortyp (Sensor mit NO- oder NC-Kontakt): In der
Spalte „SENSOR" wird für jeden der Alarmein-
gänge 1 – 4 der ermittelte Sensortyp angezeigt:
OPEN für Sensoren mit NO-Kontakt, CLOSE für
Sensoren mit NC-Kontakt.
In die Spalte „TYPE" den jeweils angeschlos-
senen Alarmsensortyp eingeben. Dazu mit
einer Cursor-Taste in jeder Zeile „1 – 4" das ent-
sprechende Eingabefeld anwählen und durch
Drücken einer Eingabetaste (
oder NC umschalten.
2) Jeder der vier Alarmeingänge kann separat ak-
tiviert/deaktivert werden. Zum Aktivieren der
Alarmeingänge mit einer Cursor-Taste in der

Spalte „STATUS" das Eingabefeld des jeweiligen
Alarmeingangs anwählen und durch Drücken
einer Eingabetaste (
gang aktivieren („ON") oder deaktivieren („OFF").
Stimmt die eingegebene Sensorangabe (Spal-
te „TYPE") nicht mit dem tatsächlichen Sensortyp
(Spalte „SENSOR") überein, blinkt am Ende der
jeweiligen Zeile ein Fragezeichen. Wenn diese
Einstellung nicht entsprechend korrigiert wird und
der jeweilige Alarmeingang auf „ON" program-
miert ist, löst das Gerät nach Abspeicherung aller
Einstellungen Alarm aus.
3) Zum Einstellen der Ansprechempfindlichkeit der
Alarmsensoren mit einer Cursor-Taste das Einga-
befeld in der Zeile „SENSITIVITY" anwählen. Mit
der Eingabetaste
sprechzeit (0,2 s – 0,8 s) einstellen. Je niedriger der
Wert gewählt wird, desto höher ist die Ansprech-
empfindlichkeit der Sensoren.
4) Die Alarmdauer kann von 0 Sekunden bis 59 Mi-
nuten eingestellt werden. Auch ein Daueralarm
ON
ist möglich.

1) In the line "REFRESH RATE" the picture refresh
rate can be adjusted to 50 or 25 fields per second.
In case of monitoring areas of high activity (e. g.
monitoring of a salesroom during opening hours)
the optimum picture refresh rate is 50 fields per
second. If there is no or hardly any activity in the
monitoring areas, the picture refresh rate should
be adjusted to 25 fields per second. With the input

5) Zum Ein- /Ausschalten des internen Summers

6) Zum Einschalten der „Video Loss"-Funktion

7) Bei Alarmauslösung durch einen Sensor schaltet
das Alarmrelais der Buchsenleiste „alarm in" (10)
(siehe Kapitel 4.2.4). Das Relais kann auch für
die „Video Loss"-Funktion aktiviert werden. Zum
Aktivieren des Alarmrelais bei Bildverlust mit
einer Cursor-Taste in die Zeile „V-LOSS RELAY"
springen und durch Drücken einer Eingabe-Taste

) „ON" einstellen. Soll das Relais bei
Bildverlust nicht ansprechen, muß „OFF" einge-
stellt werden.

To store the menu settings and to leave the screen
menu, press the button "Lock" (2). A short acoustic
signal sounds, the menu is cancelled and the unit
switches to the quad mode.
For cancelling all settings and resetting the unit to
the default status:
1) Disconnect the unit from the power supply.
2) Connect the unit to the power supply again and at
the same time keep the buttons "Lock" (2) and
"VCR" (3) pressed until the quad picture appears
on the screen.
7 Alarm Functions
7.1 Alarm triggering by an alarm sensor
For each camera channel an alarm input is provided
to which an alarm sensor with NO or NC contact can
be connected (see chapter 4.2.4).
Alarm is triggered if an alarm sensor responds
(individual alarm) or several alarm sensors respond
(multiple alarm). In case of alarm triggering the fol-
lowing functions are activated:
- An acoustic signal sounds [as far as the internal
buzzer is switched on (see chapter 6.2)].
