1) In der Zeile „REFRESH RATE" kann die Bildauf-
frischungsrate auf 50 oder 25 Halbbilder pro Se-

kunde eingestellt werden. Bei Überwachungsbe-
reichen mit hoher Aktivität (z. B. Überwachung
CH
eines Verkaufsraumes während der Öffnungszeit)
ist die optimale Bildauffrischungsrate 50 Halbbil-
der pro Sekunde. Findet in den Überwachungs-
bereichen keine bzw. kaum Aktivität statt, sollte
die Bildauffrischungsrate auf 25 Halbbilder pro
Sekunde eingestellt werden. Mit der Eingabetaste
oder
kann zwischen den beiden Werten um-
geschaltet werden.
2) Für jeden der vier Kamerakanäle lassen sich
Helligkeit (Zeile „BRIGHT"), Kontrast (Zeile
„CONTRAST") und Farbe (Zeile „COLOUR") des
Bildes separat einstellen. Mit einer Cursor-Taste
die jeweiligen Eingabefelder in den vier Quadran-
ten anwählen und mit einer Eingabetaste (
oder
) die gewünschten Werte zwischen 0 – 99
einstellen. Zur direkten Kontrolle werden die Ein-
stellungen sofort im Kamerabild umgesetzt.
3) Für jeden Kamerakanal ist ein Videofilter (Zeile
„FILTER") vorgesehen, um das bei einigen Vi-
deoquellen auftretende starke Flimmern zu redu-
zieren. Bei eingeschaltetem Filter wird eine bes-
sere Bildstabilität und -Qualität erreicht. Mit der
Eingabetaste
oder
(Filter eingeschaltet) und „OFF" (Filter ausge-
schaltet) umgeschaltet werden.
Zum Speichern der Menü-Einstellungen und zum
Verlassen des Bildschirm-Menüs die Taste „Lock"
(2) drücken. Ein kurzes akustisches Signal ertönt,
das Menü wird ausgeblendet, und das Gerät schal-
tet in den Quad-Modus.
Sollen alle Einstellungen rückgängig gemacht und
das Gerät wieder auf den Lieferzustand zurückge-
setzt werden:
1) Das Gerät von der Stromversorgung trennen.
2) Das Gerät wieder mit der Stromversorgung ver-
binden und dabei gleichzeitig die Tasten „Lock"
(2) und „VCR" (3) so lange gedrückt halten, bis
das Quad-Bild auf dem Bildschirm erscheint.

- At the front panel of the unit the LED above the
button of the respective camera channel blinks.
If the remote control TVSP-412RM is con-
nected, the LEDs of the buttons (6) on the remote
control light up; the LED indications of the re-
maining four buttons vary, according to which of
the four alarm sensors has been activated.
- For the live monitoring the display changes con-
tinuously between the full screen picture of the
camera concerned (or the full screen pictures of
the cameras concerned in case of multiple alarm)
and the quad picture. The pictures are displayed
on the screen with their dwell time programmed
in each case (see chapter 6.1).
- Both for the live monitoring and for the recording
the insertion "ALARM" blinks for the correspond-
ing camera channel.
The insertion changes continuously between
"ALARM" and the camera title of the channel con-
cerned as far as a title has been assigned to it
and the title insertion for the respective output is
switched on (see chapter 6.1).
- The alarm relay of the jack rail "alarm in" (10)
switches and activates the units connected to this
output (e. g. video recorder, alarm device)
Ending of the alarm
The alarm extinguishes after the alarm duration has
elapsed which has been adjusted in the screen
menu (see chapter 6.2). It is possible to switch off
the alarm before the alarm duration has elapsed or
to switch off a continuous alarm via a separate but-
ton for momentary action connected to the jack rail
"alarm in" (10) (for the connection of the button for
momentary action see chapter 4.2.4 and fig. 2).
After ending of an alarm the unit switches to the
quad mode.
Note: If an alarm is triggered and any desired but-
ton is pressed – except for the buttons "Lock"
(2) and "Buzzer" (3) on the remote control –,
the buzzer switches off and the unit switches
to the quad mode. [In case of locked buttons

7 Alarmfunktionen
7.1 Alarmauslösung durch einen Alarmsensor
Für jeden Kamerakanal ist ein Alarmeingang vorhan-
den, an den ein Alarmsensor mit NO- oder NC-Kon-
takt angeschlossen werden kann (siehe Kap. 4.2.4).
Alarm wird ausgelöst, wenn ein Alarmsensor an-
spricht (Einzelalarm) bzw. mehrere Alarmsensoren
ansprechen (Mehrfachalarm). Bei Alarmauslösung
werden folgende Funktionen aktiviert:
- Ein akustisches Signal ertönt [sofern der interne
Summer eingeschaltet ist (siehe Kapitel 6.2)].
- An der Frontseite des Gerätes blinkt die LED
über der Taste des betreffenden Kamerakanals.
Ist die Fernbedienung TVSP-412RM ange-
schlossen, so leuchten auf dieser die LEDs der
Tasten (6); die LED-Anzeigen der übrigen vier Ta-
sten variieren, je nachdem welcher der vier
Alarmsensoren aktiviert wurde.
- Für die Live-Überwachung wechselt die Darstel-
lung kontinuierlich zwischen dem Vollbild der be-
treffenden Kamera (bzw. den Vollbildern der be-
treffenden Kameras bei Mehrfachalarm) und dem
Quad-Bild. Die Bilder werden mit ihrer jeweiligen
programmierten Verweildauer (siehe Kapitel 6.1)
auf dem Bildschirm dargestellt.

- Sowohl für die Live-Überwachung als auch für
die Aufzeichnung blinkt für den betreffenden Ka-
merakanal die Einblendung „ALARM" auf.
Die Einblendung wechselt kontinuierlich zwi-
schen „ALARM" und dem Kameratitel des betref-
fenden Kanals, sofern diesem ein Titel zugewiesen
wurde und die Titeleinblendung für den jeweiligen
Ausgang eingeschaltet ist (siehe Kapitel 6.1).
- Das Alarmrelais der Buchsenleiste „alarm in" (10)
schaltet und aktiviert die am diesem Ausgang -
angeschlossenen Geräte (z. B. Videorecorder,
Alarmgeber).
Beendigung des Alarms
Der Alarm erlischt nach Ablauf der im Bildschirm-
Menü eingestellten Alarmdauer (siehe Kap. 6.2).

7.2 Alarm triggering in case of video loss
If the "video loss" function is switched on (see chap-
ter 6.2), alarm is triggered if the video signal fails at
a camera channel (e. g. by camera failure or inter-
ruption of the camera lines).
In case of alarm triggering the following functions
are activated:
- An acoustic signal sounds [as far as the internal
buzzer is switched on (see chapter 6.2)].
- At the front panel the LED blinks above the but-
ton of the corresponding camera channel.
If the remote control TVSP-412RM is con-
nected, the LED for the respective camera chan-
nel blinks on it; the LEDs of the remaining buttons
light up.
- For live monitoring the unit switches to the quad
mode. The last recorded picture before the video
loss of the respective camera channel is "frozen".
- Both for the live monitoring and for the recording
the insertion "V-LOSS" blinks for the correspond-
ing camera channel.
The insertion changes continuously between
"V-LOSS" and the camera title of the channel
concerned as far as a title has been assigned to
it and the title insertion for the respective output is
switched on (see chapter 6.1).
- The alarm relay of the jack rail "alarm in" (10)
switches [in case the relay has been activated for
the "video loss" function (see chapter 6.2, item 7)]
and activates the units connected to this output
(e. g. video recorder, alarm device).
The remaining optical alarm indications
dauer bzw. das Abschalten eines Daueralarms ist
über einen an der Buchsenleiste „alarm in" (10) an-
geschlossenen separaten Taster möglich (zum An-
schluß des Tasters siehe Kap. 4.2.4 und Abb. 2).
Nach Beendigung eines Alarms schaltet das
Gerät in den Quad-Betrieb.
Hinweis: Wird bei ausgelöstem Alarm eine belie-
bige Taste – außer den Tasten „Lock" (2)
und „Buzzer" (3) auf der Fernbedienung –
gedrückt, schaltet sich der Summer ab
und das Gerät schaltet in den Quad-Be-
trieb. [Bei gesperrten Tasten – siehe Ka-
pitel 5.3 – zum Entsperren zuerst die
Taste „Lock" (2) min. 2 s drücken, dann
eine beliebige Taste drücken.]
Die übrigen optischen Alarmanzeigen
(blinkende LED, Einblendung „ALARM")
und das Alarmrelais werden jedoch erst
nach Ablauf der Alarmdauer bzw. nach
Betätigen des Tasters zurückgesetzt.
7.2 Alarmauslösung bei Bildverlust
Ist die „Video Loss"-Funktion eingeschaltet (siehe
Kapitel 6.2), wird Alarm ausgelöst, wenn an einem
Kamerakanal das Videosignal ausfällt (z. B. durch
Kameraausfall oder Unterbrechung der Kameralei-
tungen).
Bei Alarmauslösung werden folgende Funktionen
aktiviert:
- Ein akustisches Signal ertönt [sofern der interne
Summer eingeschaltet ist (siehe Kapitel 6.2)].
- An der Frontseite des Gerätes blinkt die LED
über der Taste des betreffenden Kamerakanals.
Ist die Fernbedienung TVSP-412RM ange-
schlossen, so blinkt auf dieser die LED für den
betreffenden Kamerakanal; die LEDs der übrigen
Tasten leuchten.
- Für die Live-Überwachung schaltet das Gerät in
den Quad-Betrieb. Das zuletzt vor dem Bildver-
lust erfaßte Bild des betreffenden Kamerakanals
wird „eingefroren".
Ending of the alarm
The alarm extinguishes after the alarm duration has
elapsed which has been adjusted in the screen
menu (see chapter 6.2). It is possible to switch off
the alarm before the alarm duration has elapsed via
a separate button for momentary action connected
to the jack rail "alarm in" (10) (for the connection of
the button for momentary action see chapter 4.2.4
and fig. 2).
After ending of an alarm the unit is in the quad
mode.
Notes:
1. If an alarm is triggered and any desired button is
pressed – except for the buttons "Lock" (2) and
"Buzzer" (3) on the remote control –, the buzzer
switches off and the unit is in the quad mode. [In
