3. Installation planning

3.1 . Checking the consignment

Please check that the consignment is complete against the accompanying dispatch
documentation. If any items are missing from the consignment, please notify the
relevant contact person immediately.
Check the combiner box for damage before starting installation.

3.2. Storage

The conditions for long-term storage of this product are the following.
• Ambient temperature: -25 °C to +40 °C
• Relative humidity: 0 % to 50 %
In the event of ingress of dirt, pollutants or liquid into the equipment, formation of
condensation, damage or any other failures to comply with the prescribed storage
conditions, the equipment must not be commissioned until the correct remedial
procedure has been discussed with and approved by Weidmüller.
CAUTION
• The combiner box (especially the industrial-grade models as defined on
the following page) must be stored flat to avoid damaging cable glands
and connectors on the enclosure.
• In the case this instruction is not followed, Weidmüller will not accept
liability for damage arising from unauthorized commissioning.
