4. Installation

4.1. Fixation

Most Weidmüller combiner boxes are supplied with wall-mount lugs. If your specific
model is not, please check with your Weidmüller sales representative for other
mounting options.

4.2.1. Electrical safety

DANGER
For both DC and AC combiner boxes, the solar cables that will be
connected to this product during the installation phase must be isolated
and de-energized. Failure to do so will result in a risk to life from arcing
and electric shock.
CAUTION
All unused cable glands and connectors must be covered with plugs/
seals so that the IP rating is maintained. In case of doubt, contact your
Weidmüller sales representative.
WARNING
Upon reception of the combiner box the tightening torques of factory-
installed wires must be rechecked. Failure to do so may result in hot spots
inside the combiner box that could end up burning the equipment. The list
of tightening torques for the components used in your combiner box
model can be found in the annex. In case a particular component is not
found, please check with your Weidmüller sales representative.
