The charging time is about 30 minutes for a 1.5 Ah battery. The battery's charge level is dis-
played by a LED on the charger.
The charge status can be queried by pressing the button on the battery. To do this, the battery
may remain inserted in the EPG CUT 40 Power Tool, however, the tool must be switched off at
least 1 minute before this (otherwise, the display will be inaccurate).
The number of illuminated LEDs describes the charging status. One flashing LED means a
power reserve of 10%. The LED display on the battery should be used only to determine the
power reserve.
CAUTION
Store battery and battery charger in a dry place away from humidity.
The battery should not be stored for long time (approx. 1 month or more) in com-
pletely discharged state.
The charging process must be carried out only at temperatures between 0 °C and
+65 °C. Do not charge defective batteries.
Never charge the battery in the vicinity of flammable materials of gases.
Remove the plug from the socket after charging.
The charger must not be exposed to rain.
Before using the charger and battery, check them both for any defects and
damage.
Never open the charger or a battery.
