OPERATION

DEFROSTING
• If the dehumidifier is operated in a room with temperatures below 23 °C, frost will be formed on the evaporator
inside the unit. The defrost function automatically starts every 30 minutes or more for 5-10 minutes.
• The dehumidifier stops the operation temporarily while defrosting.
• Do not disconnect the plug from the socket and do not turn the unit off until defrosting is done.
• This type of dehumidifier is not suitable for lowering humidity to very low level (about 30 %).
• The model is suitable for removing unpleasant moisture in everyday life and as an auxiliary device for drying wet
laundry. It is not suitable for lowering humidity to very low levels.
Note: The room temperature rises when the unit operates.
This type of dehumidifier does not have a cooling function. The unit heats up and increases the room temperature by
1-4 °C when operating. If the dehumidifier is used in the cabinet or something similar, the temperature may rise even
more. Heat is produced by all the appliance in the room, as well as by the direct sunlight, and if windows and doors are
closed, the temperature in the room may increase even more.
CAPACITY OF THE DEHUMIDIFIER
The chart below shows the daily dehumidifier capacity at 30 °C and 80 % relative humidity when the air outlet
openings are completely open. The dehumidifier capacity varies depending on temperature and relative humidity.
If the room temperature is constant, the dehumidifier capacity gets higher when the relative humidity increases.
If the relative humidity is constant, the dehumidifier capacity gets higher when the room temperature increases.
