Menu Operations

Monitor Menu

When you press the MENU button with the Main
menu displayed, the screen switches to the Monitor
menu.
This menu shows the current operating status of this
unit.
This menu is for display only. No settings can be
made.

selected
VIDEO RATE: Video bit rate (Mbps)
AUDIO INDICATOR: Output states of the
corresponding audio channels (shown in bar
graphs)
To leave the Monitor menu
Press the MENU button.
If an optional BDKP-D1003/D1004 descrambler
board is not installed:
The menu display disappears, and the unit resumes
normal operation mode.
If an optional BDKP-D1003/D1004 descrambler
board is installed:
The display switches to the Descrambler Control menu.

Descrambler Control Menu

If an optional BDKP-D1003 or BDKP-D1004
descrambler board is installed, pressing the MENU
button with the Monitor menu displayed switches the
display to the Descrambler Control menu.
You may specify the optionally installed descrambler
board requirements on this menu.
DESCRAMBLER CONTROL
DESCR KEY-H
DESCR KEY-L
DESCR TYPE
DESCR KEY-H/DESCR KEY-L: Descramble key
(in hexadecimal). Set the upper 8 digits on the
DESCR KEY-H line and lower 8 digits on the
DESCR KEY-L line, 16 digits in total at
maximum.
When the cursor is located on the H line, the
PROGRAM and AUDIO indicators on the front
panel shows the upper 8 digits of the key (ex.
H0123 4567). When the cursor is located on
the L line, the indicators shows the lower 8 digits
(ex. L89Ab CdEF).
All the digits are shown as * on the menu display.
Press the ENTER button after settting.
DESCR TYPE: Descramble format (DVB or DES)
(For display only. No setting can be made.)
To end the Descrambler Control menu
Press the MENU button.
The menu display disappears and the unit resumes
normal operation mode.
