BDKP-D1003/D1004 Descrambler Boards
With one of these boards in this decoder unit, de-
scramble processing of DVB common format (BDKP-
D1003) or DES format (BDKP-D1004) is enabled.
RMM-30 Rack Mount Rail
Consists of slide rails to mount this decoder unit in a
19-inch standard rack.
Maintenance Manual
Contains information on service for parts (adjustments,
mounting views, block diagrams, parts lists) and for
block and board replacements.

BDX-E1000 MPEG Encoder Unit
Unit to encode video and audio signals with MPEG
standards, multiplex these compressed signals with
private data, and output them as a transport stream in
MPEG format.
BDX-M1000 MPEG Multiplexer Unit
Unit to multiplex the transport bit streams of up to 18
channels.
BDX-N1000 Network Interface Unit
Interface unit to send and receive MPEG transport
stream via ATM network.

Notes on Use

Use this unit within the following limitations:
• The maximum transport bit rate the BDX-D1000
accepts is 190 Mbps, among which the BDX-D1000
can decode 51 Mbps per program at maximum.
• The bit rate for video data the BDX-D1000 can
decode is 15 Mbps at maximum with MPEG1 and
MPEG 2 MP@ML and 50 Mbps at maximum with
MPEG 2 4:2:2P@ML. Note, however, that this is 30
Mbps or less with MPEG2 4:2:2P@ML Long GOP
with VBI.
