Operating instructions for electrically operated pneumatic valves of the
MS-18, MS-98, M-04, ME-04, M-05, ME-05, MO-05, M-07, MO-07, ME-07, MG-07,
MN-06, MND-06, M-06, M-22, MO-22, ME-22, KN-05, KNE-05, KND-05, KN-55,
KM-09, KM-99, KM-10, KM-90, KME-10, MI-01, MI-02, MI-03, KNX-55, KNX-95, KMX-
09, KMX-90, KMX-10 (Option AIRNOX surface, AN, example MS-AN-18)
These operating instructions address only qualified experts in control and automation
technology with experience in the assembly, installation and commissioning, mainte-
nance and conversion of pneumatic components as well as being familiar with the con-
cept of the types of ignition protection in areas subject to the risk of explosions. In the
interests of your own safety, please pay attention to the fact that the valves are only
destined to control pneumatic actuators and for use in compliance with their purpose in
areas subject to the risk of explosions of zones 1 and 2 for gases*), fumes*) and va-
pour*) or in zones 21 and 22 for dust*). Therefore, use them as follows:

The limit values specified by AIRTEC for pressures, temperatures, electrical data etc.
must be observed. The national standards, safety regulations and accident prevention
regulations must be heeded.
The operating instructions of the manufacturer of the solenoid operator must al-
ways be heeded!

Read the operating instructions prior to commissioning. In the case of improper inter-
vention or if the notes in these operating instructions are ignored, all liability and warran-
ty claims shall lapse.
Caution!
Do not remove or cover this type plate / imprint. In order to perform changes do not
dismantle valves. There is a danger of damage and injury and loss of warranty.
*) depends on the solenoid operator system used. The marking of the device category
and the identification letter (G: gases, fumes or vapour; D: dusts) of the explosive at-
mosphere is printed onto the solenoid operator.
