Storage Unit Installation (Main Unit)

Be sure to disconnect the power cable of the main block (POS Workstation) and
confirm the power is "OFF" before the operation below.
*Make sure to ground the unit before starting this work.
(1) Follow steps (1) to (4) in "Display Unit Replacement" to remove the display unit.
(2) Grasp the tab on the left side of the filter and pull it towards you to remove the filter.
p Do not use excessive force to open the filter.
p There is also a hook in the center, so pull the filter gently towards you.
(3) Remove the screw (1 piece) that secures the HDD cover, and then remove the HDD
cover.
(4) Remove the 5 screws that secure the MB front cover, and then remove the MB front
cover.
(5) Connect the HDD cable's SATA connector and the power connector to the control
board.
(6) Insert the tabs of the HDD chassis (2 locations) into the square holes at the front side
of the IO panel, align the bosses of the MB main cover (2 locations) with the holes in
the HDD chassis, and attach the cover.
