6.2 Daily maintenance of

splitting saw

In order to meet hygienic requirements, the
belt saw is to be serviced after every use.

6.2.1 Lubrication

Every time the unit is cleaned, slightly oil
the saw belt with acid-free EFA special oil
sand grease the guide with EFA grease.

6.2.2 Guide

Ensure particularly careful servicing of the
guide. Readjust in due time or immediately
replace if worn out.
Check that the guide moves freely through
the spring and grease the guide.

6.2.3 Saw belt

Check saw belt regularly, replace if worn
out.

6.2.4 Motor

Use a blunt, non-metal object to clean the
condensation water outlets drilled into the
bottom of the motor. Larger amounts of
condensation water accumulating in the
motor will provoke motor failure (corroded
winding) and high costs of repair.
6.3 Extended maintenance
(after approx. 50 operating
hours)
6.3.1 Splitting saw
Check and re-grease ball races of guide
pulleys as necessary.

6.3.2 Guide

Slightly grease both guides.

6.3.3 Torque wrench

At weekends, immerse the torque wrench
in an oil bath, do not relubricate.

6.3.4 Gearbox

The gearboxes are sealed for life.
Lubrication only needs to be replaced after
repairs.
