Operating Instruction
1. Ensure that all consumers and the vehicle
ignition are off (ignition key removed or in
OFF position).
2. Connect the device's charger pliers to the
battery poles/terminals on the vehicle.
When doing so, ensure that the pliers are
securely connected and that the device is
held firmly so that it cannot slip and fall
down during the starting process. The
voltage of the vehicle battery is displayed
after the device is connected.
NOTE
A battery voltage lower than 12 V may
be indicative of a defective battery. In
such cases, it is often impossible to
start the engine in standard starting
mode. In a scenario like this, start the
engine in bypass mode.
3. Switch the device on. The capacitor
charging process starts immediately after
the device is switched on. The LED voltage
display now indicates the state of charge
and/or the voltage of the capacitors.
4. Wait until the capacitors are fully charged.
The device is fully charged once the LED
voltage display has reached 14 V and a
continuous green light is illuminated.
5. Now switch on the ignition and start the
engine.

6. Repeat the process if the engine does not
start up immediately.
WARNING
Attention: Give the device enough
time to cool down between the starting
processes if several start attempts need
to be made. A cooling phase of at least
20 minutes must follow a series of max.
3 start attempts.
7. Disconnect the device and switch it off
once the engine has started.
NOTE
Capacitors are able to relatively
quickly absorb power and also to
dispense it again similarly quickly.
Under certain circumstances, faultless
and/or chargeable batteries that are
merely discharged may be able to
draw the power required to turn the
starter motor from the capacitors
before the engine is started. In a
scenario such as this, it may also be
the case that the engine is unable to
be started in standard starting mode.
Start the engine in bypass mode in
this case, too.
