- This appliance must only be used for the pur-
pose for which it was designed, "humidifier
for home use". Any other use is considered
improper and therefore dangerous.
• After removing any packaging materials, en-
sure that the appliance has not been dam-
aged. In the case of doubt, do not use the
device and contact technically trained per-
sonnel, your dealer or Artsana S.p.A.
• Keep all packaging materials (plastic bags,
boxes, cardboard, etc.) out of reach of children.
• Before connecting the appliance, ensure that
its information (see data plate under the base
of the appliance) is compatible with your elec-
tricity distribution network.
• WARNING! In order to reduce the risk of prolif-
eration of germs and bacteria and for its correct
operation, before starting the device, the water
tank (5), tank and nebuliser unit (6) and steam
outlet nozzle (3) must be rinsed and thoroughly
dried as indicated in the CLEANING AND MAIN-
TENANCE section of this manual.
• Always fill the water tank (5) only with previ-
ously boiled drinking water and let it cool to at
least 40 °C.
• Never turn on the device without first filling it
with water.
• Only place the device on rigid, flat and stable
