1 Allgemeines
Wegen den spezifischen Anforderun-
gen bei Alternativ-Kältemitteln werden
die offenen Schraubenverdichter seit
einiger Zeit mit einer weiterentwickel-
ten Wellenabdichtung ausgestattet. Es
handelt sich dabei um eine besonders
hochwertige Konstruktion mit Metall-
faltenbalg sowie einem Gleitringpaar
aus Siliciumcarbid und Spezial-Kohle
(siehe Abb. 1).
Diese Wartungsanleitung beschreibt
den Ersatz früherer Wellenabdichtun-
gen (ohne Faltenbalg) durch die neue
Konstruktion sowie deren Austausch
im Schadensfall.
Wichtig!
Eingriffe in den Verdichter bzw. Kälte-
kreislauf dürfen nur von qualifiziertem
Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden.

Due to the specific demands of the
alternative refrigerants the open type
screw compressors have been fitted
for some time with a shaft seal which
is further developed. This is of an
especially high quality construction
with metal bellows and sealing faces
of a silicon carbide and special
carbon (see Fig. 1).
The maintenance instruction
describes the replacement of earlier
shaft seals (without metal bellows) by
the new construction and also
exchange in case of damage.
Important!
Work on the compressor or the refrig-
eration circuit may only be carried out
by qualified personnel.

En raison des exigences spécifiques liées
aux fluides frigorigènes de substitution,
les compresseurs à vis ouverts sont équi-
pés, depuis un certain temps, d'une gar-
niture d'étanchéité perfectionnée. Il s'agit
d'une conception de très haute qualité
avec soufflet métallique et un couple de
bagues glissantes en carbure de silicium
et carbone spécial (voir Fig. 1).
Cette instruction de maintenance décrit le
remplacement des garnitures d'étan-
chéité employées précédemment (sans
soufflet) par le nouveau modèle, ainsi
que le remplacement de celui-ci en cas
de détérioration.
Importante!
Les interventions sur les compresseurs
ou sur les circuits frigorifiques ne doivent
être exécutées que par un personnel
qualifié.
