Setting the tea strength
The desired tea strength will de-
termine the brewing time of the
tea.
The following tea strengths are
pre-set:
– Strong
– Medium
– Mild
Using the 'brewing time' setting,
you can select a brewing time
of between 0 seconds and 10
minutes with the
buttons.
• Press the 'Selection' button
(17) until the desired tea
strength is set.
The display shows the brew-
ing time for the selected tea
strength.
If the brewing time is 0,
the tea fi lter will remain at
the top.

Heating water
WARNING
Risk of scalding!
If the water tank is over-fi lled
or if the lid is open, hot water
can spurt out during boiling.
This can lead to scalding.
Do not fi ll the water tank

past the MAX mark.
Ensure that the lid is closed

during operation.
Risk of burns!
The appliance will become
very hot during operation.
Touching the hot appliance
can lead to burns.
Only touch the appliance

by the handle.
NOTICE

Improper handling of the ap-
pliance may result in damage.
Never use the kettle with-

Fill the water tank at least
